The Secretary for the Environment, Mr Wong Kam-sing went to the HKFYG Leadership Institute. Located at the Former Fanling Magistracy, the institute is one of the projects under Batch III of the Revitalising Historic Buildings Through Partnership Scheme. Mr Wong exchanged views with youths at the institute, and encouraged them to walk the talk by practising waste and carbon reduction in their daily lives, as well as promoting the message of “use less, waste less” with a view to joining together in combating climate change.

The Secretary for Security, Mr John Lee, visited the Hung Shui Kiu Youth S.P.O.T. of the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (HKFYG), where he was guided around the centre by youth volunteers. Comprising open and innovative design concepts, the centre also provides young people with creative and experiential learning opportunities. 發展局局長黃偉綸到訪北區，與當區區議員會面，就地區事務交流意見，並參觀香港青年協會領袖學院。 香港青年協會領袖學院前身為粉嶺裁判法院，是第三期活化歷史建築伙伴計劃項目之一。現時學院設有五個院校，重點培訓青年領袖技巧，提升他們的溝通技巧、視野和社會責任等。 黃偉綸參觀學院各項設施，如以法庭及囚室改裝而成的會議廳及多用途活動室、營舍等，並聽取青年文化大使介紹舊法院的歷史及建築特色，以及修復和活化這幢三級歷史建築的計劃詳情。
