香港青年協會榮獲「星鑽」關愛服務大獎2024

由星島日報舉辦之「星鑽服務大獎」,表揚香港服務業的翹楚精英,勉勵各得獎公司機構團隊上下於過去1年的努力和成果。頒獎禮已於3月21日圓滿舉行,合共頒發63個大獎,涵蓋5大類別包括「銀行金融服務」、「保險服務」、「社會民生服務」、「消閒生活服務」及「關愛服務」。   香港青年協會榮獲「關愛服務」大獎組別。本會作為香港最具規模的非牟利青年服務機構,將繼續努力為青少年提供專業而多元的服務及活動,實踐今年65周年「信青年‧建未來」的理念。

Our deepest condolences

It is with great sadness we learnt about the passing of Dr Lee Shau Kee, GBM, a long time friend, supporter and cheerleader of young people in Hong Kong. Through his partnership with The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, we were able to provide educational, recreational and development programmes to youth all over the city.   We are honoured and humbled that by allowing us to use his name – the HKFYG Lee Shau Kee College, the Lee Shau Kee Primary School and the Lee Shau Kee Youth Exchange Fund – his legacy of service will be remembered. Go Media! Go Movie! 《看我今天怎麼說》——用同理心尊重別人的選擇

由香港賽馬會慈善信託基金捐助,香港青年協會協辦的「賽馬會青年共遊系列 —— The Year of Go!」(TYoG!) Go Media! Go Movie!《看我今天怎麼說》青年專場及分享會,已於2月23日(日)順利舉行,導演黃修平、演員鍾雪瑩、吳祉昊(Marco),在電影播放後亮相戲院,一連兩場的分享會與近350名青年,以同理心出發,探索聽障者的世界,以及學習尊重別人的選擇。   憑電影獲得「最佳女主角」獎項的鍾雪瑩表示對作品感受良多,分享與聽障人士相處的難忘經歷,並成就了她在電影中的角色:「我在八、九年前曾經學過一些手語,但主要是學習詞彙,用手語表達時十分吃力,所以在現場不夠膽與他們溝通。反而他們很鼓勵我用手語表達,令我在他們身上獲得很多力量。」 提到《看我今天怎麼說》有不少探討「會否使用人工耳蝸」的劇情,導演黃修平隨即分享了一段自己對「聾人身分」見解上的轉變,直言有部分聽障人士並不認同「聾」是一種障礙,「這個想法很衝擊我,我知道有一些儀器可以令聾人改善聽力,某些很強調自己是聾人,他們是完全不考慮選擇這些儀器。這令我體驗到一種『真我』,在窄路之中,仍然可以堅持自己的信念和尊嚴。但之後我亦了解到,有很多聽障人士其實都很希望可以透過儀器、學習讀唇得方式去投入健聽社會。」黃修平導演最後娓娓道來,電影的中心思想是「選擇」,同時亦是尊重別人的選擇,引起現場觀眾反思。   吳祉昊是一名聾人演員,但他對自己的所謂「缺憾」並不在意,輪到自己分享時更向鍾雪瑩及黃修平導演直言不知道她們剛剛說過什麼,大放笑彈。被問到關於「人工耳蝸」的選擇時,他表示自己樂意嘗試,但會一直堅持繼續打手語與人溝通,最後還教現場觀眾「拍手」以及「有Feel」的手語,現場觀眾更齊齊試做再大合照,場面相當「有Feel」!   青協TYoG!將繼續舉辦更多精彩的數碼媒體活動,活動詳情請留意HKFYGTYOG Instagram。 ——————— 關於 TYoG! 由香港賽馬會慈善信託基金捐助,香港遊樂場協會、香港小童群益會、香港青年協會、香港基督教青年會及香港基督教女青年會聯合主辦 – Jockey Club “The Year of Go!” Series (TYoG!) 支持New Gen共同探索遊歷,持續發掘每天生活中的驚喜和美好,定義自己的The Year of Go。

青協回應2025-26財政預算案

青協回應2025-26財政預算案 歡迎特區政府加強人工智能發展  培育創科人才   香港特別行政區財政司司長發表新一年度財政預算案,聚焦人工智能、創新科技、北部都會區、綠色發展等,均與青年息息相關並有助促進青年未來發展,香港青年協會對有關舉措表示歡迎。   根據青協「青年創研庫」近期的研究報告,指出本港正處於經濟轉型的關鍵時期,大部分受訪青年認為「發展數字經濟,推動新質生產力」(83.2%),是有助促進本港經濟發展。在人才發展方面,均同意「培育本地人才是推動香港經濟發展的關鍵因素」(87.2%)及「學習新科技是未來就業的關鍵能力」(86.7%)。   財政預算案提到人工智能是加速培育新質生產力的核心,另建議一系列措施激發中小學生對創科的興趣,進一步提升他們對創科應用的興趣和能力。青協認為方向可取,從前線經驗所知,相信此舉更能加強青年的解難、邏輯及計算思維,當局宜有全盤培育人才計劃,引導青年走向多元創科發展。   另外,本會亦關注政府將積極探討規範籃球博彩活動,相信可為18歲以上青年達到一定程度的保障,打擊非法活動,建議當局應從小加強預防教育,讓青少年建立正確的價值觀及理財素養。
