The transition from school to work is challenging for everyone, perhaps more so with young people with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). However, with one-on-one coaching and group support, autistic students do not need to feel that they could be left behind, instead, they could focus on developing their potential for the next stage of their lives.

Funded by The Community Chest, the HKFYG School Social Work Unit is launching FARMily – Shine. Engagement. Nurture (SEN), where the name stands for Farm and Family, a two-year programme for autistic students in years F.3 to F.6. 

The point and purpose of the programme is to take full advantage of both the Federation’s Organic Farm and Hydroponic Farm, which will give the participants an opportunity to learn about farming, outdoor camping, career planning and other life skills. By merging the therapeutic benefits of farming with residential living and working together, it is believed that the young students will also be able to enhance their own sense of self-care and self-value, all leading towards a resilient attitude for future employability and community connections. On-site internships will be available and those who show promise and interest could even be considered for part-time or full-time positions on the farms after the Programme. Counselling will also be available to parents and caretakers to help them cope and release stress.   

香港青年協會社會創新及青年創業部將於7月14日至7月30日，專為中一至中四學生舉辦暑期夏令營。今年主題為「創業與社會創新」，學員可以了解現今本港社會問題，亦可以學習如何運用創新思維模式，構思改善社會問題的方案；仲會同初創公司創辦人會面，了解他們創業經歷和心得。

The Hong Kong Jockey Club School of Global Leadership is organising a 7-day intensive leadership programme to help future leaders develop the perspective, mindset, desire and commitment to bring about positive change. The theme of the Summer School for Global Leadership 2021 is on the effects of the pandemic and tackling the growing educational digital divide. This summer programme is ideal for S4 to S6 students (Grade 10 to Grade 12) who have the ability to communicate fluently in English and have demonstrated leadership potential and commitment to society. 

When: Over three weekends from Friday, 16 to Saturday, 31 July 2021, 9am to 7pm

Aims to invite experts from the education sector and VTC lecturers to discuss with parents on various hot topics about parenting.

教育局將於5 月28 日及29 日舉辦「多元出路網上資訊SHOW2021」，為中學畢業生提供升學途徑及就業出路資訊。屆時將有約30間專上院校及學生輔導機構提供經本地評審專上課程（包括獲納入政府各項資助計劃的課程和職業專才課程）、升學輔導及就業諮詢等資料。展覽亦會涵蓋毅進文憑課程、相關資訊平台包括經評審專上課程資料網（iPASS） 、專上課程電子預先報名平台（E-APP） 、自資專上教育資訊平台（Concourse） 及資歷架構等。

應屆香港中學文憑試考生及其他同學可透過一站式網上平台瀏覽及查詢參展院校及機構提供的院校及課程資料。學友社及香港青年協會亦會提供升學及就業輔導的資料及服務。除資訊攤位外，展覽當日亦設有多場為中學畢業生而設的網上直播講座和互動問答，以及專上學生的分享。多位業界及院校代表將會介紹有關多元出路、升學準備及策略，讓同學可獲得不同專上課程和相關行業的資訊。

網上展覽平台會開放至8 月12 日，有興趣人士可在網上重溫展覽及講座內容。

In spite of the pandemic slowing our world down, none of us, especially young people, can afford to avoid preparing for the future. In fact, new skills and knowledge will be needed as they, more than any previous generation, face new challenges and new contexts every day. But when will they have time to prepare? How about the Summer holidays?

The Federation has always been committed to helping young people get ready to face the world. Along with our regular activities and courses, we are also offering a wider range of things to do in the Summer Youth Programme, which we hope will help young people acquire new skills for the future.
 

This year we are highlighting the following six essential future skills: Wellness Management, Digital Skills, Life Planning, Innovation and Problem Solving, Resilience and Crisis Management, and Communication and Cooperation. There are more than 6,000 online and offline activities, through sports, arts, music, coding, leadership training, media production, and more. Young people and their families are more than welcome to join.

疫情反反覆覆，義工們服務機會大減，不如藉此機會好好裝備自己，網上自學義工領袖必要技能知識，隨時候命出發行義！計劃內容圍繞「網上自學」、「服務實習」及「服務策劃」三大部份，彈性配搭線上及線下學習項目，獲取並累積不同學分點數，換領不同等級的證書嘉許！讓義工們無懼疫情幻變，疫情之下可先著重網上訓練，疫情之後再以實習承繼所學。

香港青年協會文化藝術組將於5月22至23日舉行Restpiration – The Feast。

Restpiration一字由休憩（Rest）、呼吸（Respire）、思潮（Inspiration）組成，希望公眾在不同的藝術體驗中調適情緒，學習抒放心靈和全健（Wellness）概念。

活動有近30項表演、多個文藝創作坊、馬戲互動遊戲、瑜伽伸展等免費活動，屆時更有發呆比賽和梳乎蛋攤位等，歡迎公眾到場一同以文藝活動放鬆心情。

RubberBand、陳蕾、MC張天賦、Senza a cappella、超能天氣、檸檬雞髀、驚愕花、KYRA、Kowloon K、Last Minute、The Anonymous、Whizz、春田花花運動丸、The Flashback、RedBricks、弓弦作樂、Funky Heroes將會演出；還有舞蹈、口琴多重奏、魔術、手碟、敲擊樂等與觀眾互動，在多元的表演中讓大家放鬆心靈。
