West Kowloon Sunset Cultural Portal 2022, bringing West Kowloon into the community through online and onsite workshops

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (the Authority) and the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups co-present West Kowloon Sunset Cultural Portal 2022, aiming to bring the West Kowloon Cultural District (the District) into the community.

With the theme of sharing the magnificent sunset view in the District, over 70 online and onsite programmes, including art installations, exhibitions, performances and workshops, will be organised from Wednesday, 17 August to Monday, 12 September 2022 to invite members of the public to know more about the District and encourage them to visit the District.

As an integral part of the project, 15 online and onsite workshops will be launched from 17 to 28 August. Young talents will host various handicraft and storytelling workshops and introduce the District in different perspectives, including the popular sunset viewing point in the District, arts and cultural venues, programmes and exhibits. The workshops are free-of-charge and welcome families and youths to participate. To further engage the public in the community, a community event will be held at Lee Tung Avenue, Wan Chai on Sunday, 28 August 2022 and an art installation will be set up in Wan Chai.
