Edward Yau visited the HKFYG Jockey Club Social Innovation Centre

The Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Edward Yau visited Southern District and met with members of the Southern District Council (SDC) to gain a better understanding of community issues. He also visited the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups Jockey Club Social Innovation Centre and met with young entrepreneurs to find out about their experiences in starting up businesses and how the Centre helps inspire innovation and entrepreneurship in youth. In addition to providing co-working space and other office facilities, the Centre helps young entrepreneurs expand their networks and identify suitable investors. The Centre has so far supported about 30 youth entrepreneurs to start businesses.
