香港藝術發展局「2016香港藝術發展獎」已於2017年5月26日假將軍澳電視廣播城舉行頒獎禮，共頒發了32個獎項予本地藝術工作者、團體、學校及機構，以表揚他們在藝術方面的成就，以及在推動香港藝術發展方面的貢獻。由香港青年協會主辦，香港賽馬會慈善信託基金獨家贊助的香港青年協會賽馬會無伴奏合唱教育計劃，榮獲「藝術教育獎(非學校組)」。 上述計劃為學生及無伴奏合唱愛好者提供一系列表演及交流機會；過去一直深受各界歡迎，並培育了不少新晉的無伴奏合唱組合，為本港音樂發展作出貢獻。 無伴奏合唱(a cappella)即無樂器伴奏之純人聲音樂，透過巧妙編排，唱出尤如樂隊般豐富的音韻。近年參與的人數與日俱增，水平不斷提升。年青人從中學會聆聽、溝通和自律；他們付出努力後獲得別人的認同和肯定，能夠提升自信心，成為進步的動力。無伴奏合唱不受時間、地方及樂器限制，適合大眾參與，而且大部分以流行曲為本，成為正統音樂(Serious Music)與流行文化的橋樑。 全方位音樂教育及推廣計劃 該計劃為學界及無伴奏合唱愛好者提供基礎及進階培訓、領袖教育、教學及製作訓練、示範演出、比賽交流、資訊展示平台等，亦著重培訓業界專才，為未來發展打好基礎。活動形式新穎，涉獵範圍廣泛，亦推出app-cappella流動應用程式，方便愛好者排練及取得資訊。 從入門到專門，該計劃提供各項適切的活動，例如於學校舉辦示範演出及訓練課程，開拓學生對無伴奏合唱的興趣；對於想精進造詣的組合，則提供專門的進階訓練及試煉交流平台；另為音樂教師安排工作坊，分享無伴奏合唱排練技巧及發展趨勢。 培育合唱人才 助青少年成長 該計劃於2014年首次舉辦Stage for Six，為志趣相投者穿針引線，配對成為組合，活動得到業界高度肯定。處於瓶頸位的組合，則可參與Time to Shine，進一步學習專業聲樂、形體、音樂製作、司儀主持技巧等，針對各組合的強項弱點，配對相關的導師加強指導；此活動更安排他們拍攝造型照，在專業配備的舞台上演出，助他們打造亮眼的品牌。該計劃亦為表演者及音響業界提供相關的製作訓練，讓歌者演唱時更得心應手，表演水平更趨專業。 青協一直致力推動本地無伴奏合唱發展，開拓更多青年參與文化藝術的機會和空間。多年來，超過175間中學校逾17萬人次參與「香港青年協會賽馬會無伴奏合唱教育計劃」各項活動，包括：示範演出、合唱訓練、合唱學生領袖訓練、香港國際無伴奏合唱比賽、Time to Shine、教師工作坊、製作訓練、無伴奏合唱Gala、A ca-félla無伴奏合唱@ Café、Stage for Six、資料庫、音響器材租用、app-cappella等；配合香港國際無伴奏合唱節及「青協香港旋律」組合，從各方面支援青年欣賞及學習，並為業界的長遠發展注入新動力。 網站︰acappella.hkfyg.org.hk 查詢︰2395 5753

The HKFYG Tai Po Youth Hostel provides an opportunity for young people to take their first step towards independent living through transitional housing. With creative use of space, the hostel will accommodate 80 18-30 year-olds. By living together and learning how to cope on their own, residents will learn essential daily life skills including financial planning, time management and decision making.
